I am a former employee of la weight loss and yes they are the biggest rip off to their customers and their employees!!!
I feel sorry for all the people who thought they were going to get genuine help with them.
The reason i am writing this is i want current employees and future employees to know they will not give you all your money owed when you get fired or leave. I took a sick day prior to my end with the company and they refused to pay me stating i did not have any sick days to take although i had an email sent to me from christine moffit the lady in charge of payroll that as of 1-22 i had sick days and i took it after that date. I called and called her and she would not return any of my calls and i even have a physical copy of the email stating the date when my sick days became available. Okay thats number one now i sent by certified mail a letter requesting a copy of my personel file because by law if we ask they have to provide it. Well they signed for my letter and no file.
Again i called and called and left multiple messages to the lady in charge of human resources and yet again no response. This just shows they not only scam their clients out of their money they also scam employees out of money. I feel bad for the people who want refunds and never get them. But know this check what your state laws are because every state has a law about businesses and their refund policies. Most require some sort of refund policy to be in effect so if they tell you that you cannot refund check with the state. If anyone has any issues with the corporate centers the number and address listed in this is the corporate address and telephone number. Please dont let this unethical company take a ride on you. We all need to help each other and hopefully all thes posts do just that. Good luck to everyone with their weight loss!
