When I received my credit card bill, I noticed two charges that I did not recognize and was sure that I did not make. One was from a company named LEANRX.net for $74.95. Six Days later I received another charge from a company named XTREME BURN for $69.95. I called my credit card company to dispute these charges and was told that in the seven days from the time that my monthly credit card statement was prepared to when I received it, two additional charges from these companies were made.
I disputed all four charges and my credit card company immediately cancelled my credit card number and said they would credit my account for these charges, so I feel luckier than others who are having problems getting their money back from these companies.
In looking at usacomplaints.com, I noticed that a lot of others were having similar problems with these two companies. However, I noticed that some of the other complaints on this site mention that they noticed these charges after ordering from flowers.com.
Interestingly enough, for the first time, I also ordered flowers from flowers.com, approximately 10 days before these fraudulent charges started appearing. I can't say for certain there is a connection, but there certainly seems to be a number of suspicious coincidences.
