I saw a charge of $79.95 on my bank statement which was not authorised by me. The charge was from some outfit called Lean RX. Never heard of them, nor did I have a record of such a transaction in my records.
A bit of web searching led me down the road to what was happening. Several months ago I had responded to an ad on the web for a free shipment of Hoodia. When I received a package in the mail a few weeks later, I found my debit card had been billed for $99. I contacted the company, Hoodia Thin, to stop billing me.
From my web search I find that Lean RX is actually the same company as HoodiaThin. And I am not alone in being subjected to this ripp off scam.
Now I'm back, once again to filing reports with my bank to dispute these charges. Don't bother calling the 800 number, it is a waste of time. I'm now at a crossroads of the hassles of dealing with this company, and having to cancel out my bank card. I just wish that someone would step in and confront this company, and legally shut them down.
