I was sick and went to the emergency room to see what was wrong. I arrived at 9:15 am on Tuesday morning. I was seen by the doctor around 11:00 am, and he sent me to x-ray, gave me a shot for pain. He left me in the room and went to lunch. When he finally came back he looked at my x-ray, wrote me 3 prescriptions and sent me home at 1:15 pm. My emergency room bill was over 1000.00, just for the visit. I will receive a separate bill for the doctor's services, which will be around 1000.00. I had an insurance card but they didn't accept that, they bill me outrageously and I can't afford that bill. They charged me for the shot and also for the nurse giving me the shot. They really ripped me off.
