I began working for A&B Medical And Dental on July 7 and was told I would get paid $50.00 a week and $150.00 per client I signed up. I have now signed up 1 client and have worked there 6 weeks which would equal a grand total of $400.00 IF I were to get paid. But no, that isn't what happened. They pay on the 1st and 15th of the month but as of yet I have not gotten one single paycheck, even though by now I should have gotten 3!
So I called up my supvervisor, Antoinette a few weeks back and asked where my paychecks were, because the first missed paycheck I thought maybe they held back, but then I read the papers they sent me when i signed up and holding back paychecks were not mentioned. So I call her up and she tells me that she thought I should have gotten my paycheck that she did not understand what was wrong. She then said she would call the company and call me right back. I call her back the next day when she didn't call me and she said that she had to talk to someone else she would call me back.
This phone tag game went on a couple of weeks and she became harder and harder to get ahold of. Which, of course, led me to get more and more angry and fed up. So I try and ask her again and she tells me that my client didn't sign up in time so that my next paycheck would have everything I was owed. Well the pay day came around and low and behold, NO paycheck.
So I call her back AGAIN and tell her that yet again I did not recieve my paycheck. She then did her little spew again where she didn't understand why and she would call the company and get back to me. Another week goes by and I call her back to find out what is wrong. Mind you I had been trying to get ahold of her every single day about the check, it just took me a week to get an answer. She then said that I did not meet the "minimum" hours, even though I had way surpassed the client quota. So they were refusing to pay me. She then said she would talk to them and work it out and get back to me.
This brings me to the present. It had been another week and finally I got ahold of her again and told her to give ME the number and I would call, because it was taking too long and I was tired of the excuses. So Antoinette gives me the phone number and I call and talk to Sabrina, she is the payroll asistant to Benjamin Black. Well Sabrina and I had a long hour conversation about what is going on and she told me that the company believes that it was Antoinette's error, because she failed to mention my minimum hours, she failed to give me the correct contract (she gave me a comission contract and told me to just cross out comission and put base), she also failed to realize I was on the base program until all the problems began.
So Sabrina calls Antoinette into her office and puts her on the phone as well, where Antoinette admits fault and says that she DID fail to inform me and DID fail to give me the correct contract and so forth. So then I was told that they would be having a meeting that evening and that it would be coming out of her paycheck and not to worry.
So I call today to see when I will be getting that pay and guess what? Antoinette decided she wasn't at fault after all, then attemped to blaim me and basically said the company is refusing to pay me. So I have been working at this company for a month and a half and it was all for nothing because I will never see a paycheck.
I think call Sabrina back to find out what happened between last night and today that changed from me getting paid ASAP to not at all and she begins to tell me that though it was Antoinette's fault and she DID admit it that it was my fault too and they have never had this happened to the company before so this is new to them, but basically I'm not getting paid. But they still tried to string me along so I would still work for them because they said I was the best one they've got.
If any of you reading this were even considering working for this company, DON'T. They will have you busting your butt working 7 hours a day 5 days a week, making you go to two meetings a week via phone conference, having you fill out tons of forms and then not pay you. I am filing a report with the Better Business Bureau about this and I have contacted the Wage and Labor Board.
I just wanted it to be made known that this company is yet another one of the thousands of rip off's found on the internet.
