Surefire Health & Wealth
Ripoff questionable products misleading network marketing dishonest

This post is about a company that is associated with Income Strategies Institute (ISI) and HB Products Unlimited of West Jordan Utah. Surefire Health & Wealth presented their product pitch at the end of a 3-day workshop by ISI.

Several of the people involved in the presentation were the same ones that had been present, and part of an intimidation factor, used by John Hyland of ISI in his presentation for the three days. They made a point of putting videos of weight lifters and an Olympic participant on the screen for people to see. I don't know if this was a deliberate attempt to muscle people or not but it had that effect on me, and several other people in the seminar.

Surefire Health & Wealth has so called health related products they market through a Network Marketing scheme. They presented an opportunity to attend a special event on May 10th for $20.00. The $20.00 ($70.00 value) ISI special price purchased their Distributor Evaluation Kit, which included a 1 month supply of the Surefire product of your choice. They only have three products on their website at this time therefore I assume this all they have. One is a chocolate drink called Xoco Matte The Ultimate Antioxidant Energy Beverage. One is a pain relieve crme called Elation. The other is a Joint Mobility product called Ultra PR17, which contains the common compounds of Glucosamine & Chondroitin Sulfate, found in many similar products.

At the original presentation for the 3-day workshop they handed out sample bottles of the Ultra PR17. I was one of those picked to receive it to try between that time and the 3-day workshop, which was about 3 weeks. I took the recommended dosage of 3 tablets a day for the 3 weeks but could not tell any difference in the pain levels in my knees and back, nor any increased mobility. Therefore I conclude it is no better or worse than other similar products I have tried in the past. At the ISI workshop they asked for reports and I got the opportunity to say that before the approximately 300 people in attendance.

At the workshop presentation they handed out several sheets of paper. One contained values of different products as compared to the XoCo Matte product. This sheet said that XoCo Matte had an ORAC rating in units per 100 Grams of 13,120 with the next being Milk Chocolate at 6,740. The products listed then were Prunes at 5,770, Raisins at 2,830, Blueberries at 2,400, Blackberries at 2,036 and 14 other foods with lesser values down to Eggplant at 390.

I asked Surefire to provide the proof of these figures in particular theirs, since they said the source information was from Data from the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the journal of the American Chemical Society. Of course they could not produce such proof and, as I found out later via company representative, this was an unauthorized list put out by one of their associates.in other words Bogus information.

Whether or not these products have any value at all remains to be seen. They are marketed through a network marketing program known as multi level marketing (MLM) similar to many others such as I don't choose to be in that game because your first target is your friends and relatives. Many of them will become your enemies and the cost is not worth it.

I for one didn't appreciate the high pressure tactics used by ISI to promote this part of their program. The products are marginal at best in my opinion and very expensive. Be aware of what you are getting into before doing so.
