Following is the Report I sent to the BBB:

Dear Sir/Madam,
On Feb 1st, I ordered a free sample of 15-day supply of Hoodia Thin from Nova Pointe, LLC, an affiliation with Luminator Sunglasses in Utah 84070. They said it'll be shipped via USPS and will arrive to my address within 3-4 days. According to the agreement, after a 14 day trial, if I feel it doesn't work for me, I can call and cancel the next shipment. But on the transaction details the credit card company sent to me, the carrier was POM, and the shipping cost is $. 63

On Feb 15, as I did not receive the merchandise, I sent them a letter asking for the reason. On the Feb 19th I called my credit card to revoke the shipping charge of $5.95 applied to my account. On the 20th, however, I received the sample, and called the credit card company to admit the charge. The sample bottle contains 13 capsules while they suggested taking 1-2 caps 15 minutes before each meal for 15 days during the trial period in order to lose 10 lbs.

On Feb 22nd, I sent them a letter, asking them to stop further shipment because of medical reason. They responded that it had been shipped, and it was not refundable, because I was supposed to notify them during the trial period (In this case: from Feb 1st to Feb 14, but during that period of time, I did not have a chance to try their supplement, simply because it has not arrived).

They shipped to me 2-month supply (I don't know how many caps in there, because I immediately returned the package without opening it), and charged $99.90 to my account.
The date of shipping and the day I received the second shipment was 20 days also, through USPS. (The transaction details was the same as previously, and in both shipments they noted: change shipment address [?! ])

The whole problem in here resides in this controversy:
How they can manage to send merchandises through USPS and make them delayed for 20 days in the US mainland, in both occasions? This unusual circumstance is the basis for their extortion of thousands victims. Of course, I'm not the first and only victim of this rip-off scam. Read:

Why in the world they don't refund for returned merchandise? This policy, combined with the delay in delivery can make any crook becomes a billionaire in selling any bogus merchandise! Regarding the sample itself: The ad says it regularly costs $49.95. (For 13 caps, it's $4 a cap). It is more expensive than most prescription drugs!
I hope you can help stop this obvious deceiving practice.
Sincerely,

Lisa
