This nightmare began with 60 Minutes' report of Hoodia which offered a free sample. (See Hoodia posting.)
3/24/06 my account was debited for $28.97 identified as ecurves; however, when I called the number given, I was referred to www.efitnessclubhouse.com to cancel what they said was a subscription (which came from the above incident). I did this & printed out a copy.
4/5/06 not having seen a credit for the $28.97, I again called and was told "what has been done has been done." When I protested, I was told if I tried to reverse the charge thru my bank it would go into collection & would cost me more in the long run. I told her that I had reported this incident (1st one) to 60 Minutes and would do so again & would have my bank investigate... And perhaps the Attorney General would get it.
This situation is appalling!
