I would like to share my bad shopping experience! So people will be aware about Brick! As I see on the web site I'm not the only one who is hot happy with Brick.
Recently we bought a mattress and a bed from BRICK. We also had to buy a mattress cover, because if it%u2019s not bought together than it will affect the mattress warranty. Sales person pushed us to buy it! Fortunately, we found better deal for mattress and refunded mattress cost, but unfortunately at that moment I completely forgot about mattress cover.
Delivery of my bed was scheduled for September 19 and it came in with unacceptable conditions! Brick left discolored head board at my home and took broken foot board with them. As I understood now, it was done on purpose! They also rescheduled delivery for September 24. I had to stay second day at home. Bed was delivered broken again!!! I was so disappointed!!! I asked the driver to take the head board, which was left in my bedroom on 19th with him as I wanted to return it and get my money back. He refused. I tried to call customer support, but they always put me on hold or transfer to another person. Nobody wanted to listen about return. Finally, I reached warehouse and the girl was very nice, but she could help me only with delivery service. I decided to try one more time and we set new delivery for September 27th. So I have to stay 3rd day at home!
On September 26 I remembered about mattress cover and went to Brick to return it. As I don%u2019t have mattress from them so I don%u2019t need their mattress warranty so I don%u2019t need their mattress cover. The girl refused to refund it as it was %u2018as-is%u2019 sale, but nobody told me that at the moment of purchase! Nobody also asked me if I wold like to return it when I returned the mattress. Although, I had to buy mattress together with a cover as a package to obtain the warranty! She gave me store credit! I was very upset!
Then I wanted to cancel delivery and refund my money for the bed! She told me that it is impossible, because I have had the bed at my place and by their policy it would be reselection only and no money back! I tried to explain to her that I have only 1 pc of bed, twice the bed was delivered broken, and it could not be used, I also didn%u2019t change my mind about style or color I just really tired of their customer service and poor product quality! She said that they don%u2019t have customer satisfaction policy and she can%u2019t help me! But I checked their web site and it says "If the product is still in its original sealed package, we will refund the purchase price of the item and extended warranty if you return it within 7 days of delivery" Why then she refused to do refund for me if I even didn't have whole bed at my home?
Then I tried to cancel bed protection plan, which was bought together with bed, and again could not! She said to me if I cancel it then bed price will go up! I don%u2019t understand why I have to pay for protection if I don%u2019t need it. On my bill it is 2 different financial departments and no memos that it has to be purchased together or bed was discounted because I bought protection plan!
Considering all the problems I had with Brick I%u2019m not going to shop with them anymore! Never ever again in my life! Every penny spend with Brick becomes not refundable! They have tricks and answers for everything but not returning the money! I think people should now it before they go there!
They also put as-is on every bill, for us not to come to return it if we don't like the product. Receipt says "customer aware" but we get aware only when try to return it not at the moment of purchase. I understand that they have a monthly sales plan and have to reach it! Although, it is not the right way to do it!
