Fraenkel Company Inc
Fraudulent Product, Description

I wanted an Englander, 100% natural Dunlop latex mattress with a 100% Dunlop core. I talked personally with Paula and told her this. I was extremely specific. I specifically told her that I did not want any polyurathane foam, coils, or talelay. She assured me that she had an Englander bed that fit those parameters and I ordered it through Bed's for Less in Wichita, KS. After a few weeks, I noticed that the bed was sagging in our sleep areas. The dips were actually staying there. I decided to rotate the bed and had to do this every few weeks. My back was killing me and I couldn't believe that this mattress was so bad. My mother-in-law has one and her's doesn't do this and it's 25 yrs. Old. I decided to look on the tag to find the model number just to make sure I had received the right mattress. On the tag, it said, 90% polyurathane foam, 10% natural latex foam, innerspring.

At this point, was sure there was just a mistake. So I called the manufacturer, as suggested by the store who received the mattress, and gave them the model number. They told me it was called a Puretouch mattress and that it was 100% natural Dunlop latex. I proceeded to tell her what the tag said. She had the audacity to say that the tag was correct and that that just means that it is 100% natural Dunlop latex! I said, "do you think I am stupid or something? Polyurathane foam is a petroleum product, not latex." Still, she insisted that I was wrong and she was right. I told her that I wanted the bed that I specifically ordered. She said no, there was no product like that, mitigating her previous comment.

Later, I got on line and discovered that Puretouch isn't even an Englander line. However, the manufacturer did send me an Englander foundation (it had the plastic corner bumpers that said "Englander"). Now, it seems I have been lied to. I probably paid for the bed I did want, but got a cheapo, off line that they sell to homeless shelters. The mattress is absolutely horrible. Sleeping in a hole with a permanent hump in between my husband and I honestly, I like the hump, at least when my husband leaves for work, I can move to the middle of the bed and sleep on the hump which is more comfortable than sleeping in a dip.

The Salesman at the store which the bed was delivered to, was pretty nice, but he can't seem to do anything about any of this. He remembers how specific I was and said he would back me up on that. His boss, the owner of the store says he will try to work something out, but says his hands are tied. I've had the mattress for 5 months, this last month spent getting the run around. Going to call my credit card co. To dispute the charge if something isn't worked out soon. All I want is the bed I described, even if it is a more expensive mattress, I'll pay the difference! If they don't have it, take this horrible mattress back, give back my money and let me go find one somewhere else. So, now I am waiting to see what they come up with. Update when, and if, there is a final solution worked out.
