We purchased our $5000 bedset in march and recieved it shortly there after. Within a few weeks we occasionally noticed small red bumps on out arms and legs. We thought they were flee bits so our small dog was no longer able to sleep with us. Over the next few months the bites came more often and in larger numbers. Then we found small brown bugs under our covers. I thought they were ticks but it turns out they were bedbugs! We took the bed apart and in the cracks of the wood were several nests of these bugs. We tried to kill them with alcohol but they kept coming out of the wood. I notified ashley customer service and sent in the nasty pics of the wood. I never heard back for a few days so i called and a lady named Gwen told me that the managers determined the bugs came from us and would not be doing anything to correct the problem. All i asked was for someone to come take a look at the wood and infestation problem and got no where. I then spoke with a manager from the Live Oak store where the bedset was purchased from. She told me a "higher up" would contact me to try to resolve my issue. It has been 3 days with no phone call and i am still not able to sleep in my bed! I want this bedset out of my house. I will never purchase from ashley again. A complaint with the better business bureau has been filed as well.
