I requested 30 containers of premium fish and tuna from Daveis Albacore in Santa Cruz, California. Once the container appeared (in excellent situation), and that I popped it, I came across 26 containers were damaged. After I named to inform them-and to request a re shipment, they stated, "We do not deliver damaged containers!" I had been amazed at their tone, but comfortably stated, "Ok... However, they're damaged." They explained it had been the problem of advantages - the advantages guy should have a guy called "Larry" explained the advantages employees re packed them. He explained they are doing this therefore their employers wont observe that they broken any containers. Obviously used to donot think this, but I stated, "Whatsoever... Would you please simply re-deliver the purchase?" They said I'd need to document a UPS state first. I stated that was not my obligation, and they also stated "I'd" document it (they'd aid me in processing it). I mentioned Iam not processing any state against advantages (who'd have believed I'd be visiting the protection of advantages? But in the end, I understood it had beennot their problem). They stated that I'd need to deliver the container back again to them... And, what surprised me was they required I spend to deliver it back. I would previously paid $20 to truly have the initial container delivered in my experience, and today they needed me to visit the trouble and cost of shipping the damaged containers back again to them. Issues began falling apart there (i.E., I had been identifying that used to donot wish to cope with the corporation any more). After I told them-they would need to select the containers up, and that we would simply abandon it at that, they went "nuts!"
I submitted a state with my charge card organization and also the $224.20 was acknowledged back again to my bill. Then Daveis REALLY ENERGIZED my charge card - with no agreement or fresh purchase from me. This deal has become being researched by my charge card business.
It appears a method for Daveis Albacore not to need to have a reduction due to their damaged containers, i.E., deliver them to clients (they cannot offer them within their store) after which document a state using the shipper.
