Mark Kasik Unprofessional, Snobby, Arrogant

I read about the position at Consumer Acquisitions on monster.com and was instantly intrigued by the offer of such a great entry level position. I applied and was contacted the next day by someone to set up my first interview. I went to the interview and met Mr. Kasik. He seemed very nice, eager to meet new people and answered all the questioned I had. I got set up with a second interview, a phone interview, and was hired within a week.

Everything started off just like any other job would with training and learning how to do all the day-to-day work. I picked up on everything very quickly and had all the basic knowledge down within two day but was having trouble selling the product. I went to Mr. Kasik for help, seems as how he was the CEO and had rose though the company, and he was very short-tempered. He was constantly cutting me off and correcting me on what I was doing, despite that I was doing the things that I was taught when I started.

After about a week and a half, I was pretty feed up of being antagonized and after one day of not getting any sales, I left as soon as the clock hit 7 o'clock (which is when we are aloud to leave). Mr. Kasik called me at 7:05 and asked me where I was. I responded that I was on my way home and he replied "So you would rather sit at home with shitty sales, then put in a little more work?". This was after I had already worked a 9 and a half hour day. I told him that I was just having a bad day and need to go home. He then told me that I needed to be in the office by 10 A.M. The next day to talk to him or to not show up at all and then he hung up on me.

Needless to say, I did not show up the next day but I called him to tell him that I didn't plan on coming in to work.instead of letting it ring to voicemail, he sent me to voicemail after two rings. I left him a message telling him that I wasn't showing up and that it would be nice if he would call me back to tell me when I could drop off my supplies and receive my paychecks. He did not respond for five days, so I left another voicemail again, after I got sent to voicemail after two rings, asking when I could drop off my supplies and pick up my paychecks. He called me four days after I was supposed to get paid and told me that I could pick it up at the office and then hung up on me again. I picked up my second to last paycheck and once again it has been four days after I should have received my last paycheck and have heard nothing from him.

I do not believe that Mr. Kasik is a professional buisness owner. He is stuck up because he has never missed a day, not even taking off for his mother's funeral, which is something he says with pride. I would not recommend this job to anyone and a friend of mine actually worked with me and had a similar experience.
