I recently went to a local home show in Minneapolis, MN and received a "Poker Jackpot" scratchoff and "won" what was supposed to be a "Canon Powershot digital camera". I contacted the call center listed on the card and they told me that in order to receive the prize that i would have to watch a demonstration of an air purification system in home. I thought to myself not a big deal, I would humor them because a Powershot is a nice camera.
The sales rep came to my home this evening and used a very high pressure sales technique in order to sell his product (a $699 air purifier). I eventually got him to pack his stuff up and he agreed to leave and that is when i asked for my prize. He said he would get it from his car and he would be on his way. When he returned from his car he gave me the cheesiest Chinese camera that you could imagine that is sold for $9.99 on ebay. His product was overpriced, their prize is a cheap bait and switch gimmick and over-all this company cannot be trusted. Run!!!
