Never again!

Terrible. Horrible. Stupid. I gave them my 2tb hard drive to restore 500gd data on it. I told them that I DO can acces the data, but I just didn’t have enough memory on my laptop to run the process of restoration with GetDataback. The damage wasn’t serious, just some little virus. Today I received back my hard drive and it looks like it went trough a war, like they were playing baseball with it. I asked “Why did you do that? ”. They told me that it was impossible to restore the data without physically breaking the hard drive. They charged me $ 400. Look, I’m not stupid. I know that they did it on purpose to make me think that the damage was so serious. Now the hard drive is totally, fully broken. Before it worked ok. I could still store data on it. They couldn’t answer what was the damage, just something like “oh, virus…virus…”. I know how they make their money. I saw who was there with me in a line – people who don’t know how to push “start” on their computers, people who don’t know how to instal or uninstal applications. For this category of users what they do is a miracle and they are ready to pay whatever they ask. But if you know more or less how intellectual electronics work don’t go there. You’re going to be very dissapointed because you will see what they’re doing – lie, overcharge, and, finally, damage your stuff. Comon, seriously, how can it be $ 400 if I could restore it myself without damaging anything and it would take me maximum 4 hours. And, yes, service is bad. They were also rude to me. Oh.
