Electrolux makes Frigidaire brand dishwashers. I bought one less than a year ago from Lowe's. It has flooded intermittently ever since. Now it floods about every third time it is turned on. I have to babysit it if I want to use it. The third repairman today told me his previous service call was for the same model and the same flooding problem. Electrolux refuses to admit it is a design flaw but at the same time has invented a retrofit shield to keep the water in. Obviously there has been a problem or they would not have come up with the shield. The water has damaged my new wood floor but I can't replace the machine until a liability claim is filed a resolved. That could be months. Or I can replace the machine at my own expense and forget about the floor. Those are the options Electrolux gave me. The rep actually told me the warranty is only for repairs not defects. So I am stuck with an expensive piece of junk. My extended warranty is useless because I won't be keeping this machine another two months. Believe me I am going to go anywhere and everywhere I can to warn people about Electrolux and it's horrible products and service.
