We had a RCA pojection TV that would not turn on. We called Arrow Service Center to repait the set. They took the components and returned them in a couple of weeks. The set worked for a couple of days and then would not turn on again.
This cycle repeated itself 3 or 4 times over 2 or 3 months. They finally said they give up. I asked for my money back $393.75. Their written guarantee was 90 days parts and labor. The set never worked for 90 consecutive days. They never sent me a check even though they said they would.
After several attempts to collect they said that they would give me my money back if I let them have the set. I had already disposed of the set (it had been 2 more months). They then said they would not return my money without the set. Their warranty does not state that they need the broken set back.
