On September 25 I received a phone call from (who claimed to be) AE500. I was told by a sales representative that I could receive a 42 inch flat screen TV and a laptop for a total of $760.00. She told me that all I needed to do was make a down payment of $99.00 to get started.
I then agreed to the offer, and gave her my credit card information to make the payment. She informed me that I only needed to make three consecutive payments of $120.00 on the third of each month. She also said that I would receive my merchandise after the third payment and I could finish making the rest of the payments until I pay them off.
Furthermore, after my first payment, I called to ask if I could get a welcome packet or some kind of information about my account. She told me that would send something right away. Consequently, I never received anything.
