Because of the 5 emails without a response, and because my confirmation number was "not valid" after the 5th email asking to cancel my order due to no responses, I thought they canceled the order as requested. As a result, I was charged a $35 OD fee by my bank because I had given up on ever receiving the order since they did not respond to ANY email and because they had not charged my CC yet.
Plus, I ordered free 2-day shipping. Game (Mortal Kombat) was released on 4/19 and I was told on the phone on 4/13 when I called that the game will be sent out on 4/19 and I would receive it no later than 4/22 due to the free 2 day shipping.
I was under the impression they had canceled the order since they refused to answer any of the 5 emails I sent. On 4/21 I was charged $157.31, which was 2 full days after the game was released and a full 2 weeks after i ordered the game. My confirmation number is now working again and my estimated shipping date is 4/25 (even though on the phone on 4/13 I was told I would receive it by 4/22). So they weren't planning on shipping the item until a full week after it was released.
I never received anything and currently have a report on the BBB and a dispute with my credit card company.
When I was finally charged the full amount, I had already bought the game from another merchant and therefore didn't have the money to pay for TFE's because I thought it was canceled and my confirmation number didn't work. I was charged $35 OD fee from my bank because TFE waited and charged my card 2 full weeks after I ordered the item, and 5 full days after I requested to cancel the order via email. I have complete records of everything I am writing about.
NOW, the website www.tfegames.com does not exist! It's gone! At least their parent company TFE Entertainment is still there... But they have yet to contact me or refund anything (even though on the BBB report, someone responded suggesting they would personally see that i would get my refund, the short response had so many grammatical errors, it was embarrassing and obvious English was not their first language. Plus, they didn't even leave a name or title.
I have received nothing from them, aside from a charge of $157.31 (i ordered the "tournament edition").
Stay away from this company (TFE Entertainment) or anyone associated with them.
