Complaint / Review
Inoax - Olympus
Ripoff - misrepresentation, bait & switch, send aftermarket products instead of brand name

Please see email below which I sent to Olympus Camera, who refuses to honor product warrantee. I hold Olympus at fault also for continuing to let these ripoffs sell their product. See further bad info I compiled about Inoax at
http://www.rxasia.com/inoax-sucks.html.

Here is my email to Olympus USA. Olympus still is in denial and continually passes the buck.

Dear Sir or Madam,

In reply to the email below, I am responding to your request for further information. Please note the camera in question is sitting at your facility and Rosemary at 631.881.6527 currently is holding it.

Inoax represented to us they were authorized Olympus representatives, and that the Olympus rep was in their shop at least twice a week.

Inoax told us the Olympus representative would take care of the matter, as told to us by Inoax customer service rep Moses.

Inoax advised us this representative brought back the repaired camera to Inoax location, only to find it still was not working.

They further stated the Olympus rep returned the camera to the Long Island Facility for further repair.

Ultimately, when contacting your Long Island facility as to the status of the camera, we found out this was all a lie.

Now, please understand my position. I was an HP & Xerox (and others) authorized rep, and I had to go through a lengthy process with the manufacturer, as well as their regional distributors as they did not sell direct. If I, in any way, misrepresented HP or Xerox warrantees or policies, I would have been immediately cut-off from the distribution chain, whether it be for a large ticket item, or just consumables used in those machines.

I find it utterly uncomprehendable that you are allowing these people to misrepresent your products, as well as sell unwarranted after-market accessories which, in my case, destroyed the camera. You know every serial number you ever manufactured, and can trace each item. It would seem very easy for you to cut off their supply or the reseller they are dealing with, and not have to suffer the resulting bad reputation these people are giving your products.

Please feel free to contact me for further information at the below address & phone numbers.
