Couldn't even get a simple "Yes/No" answer - Phillips 5000 series LCD TV

Here's my dilemma,

I have a Phillips 5000 series LCD TV purchased in 2008 from New Zealand.

I looked at the specs and the Mains power: 110-240V, 50-60Hz.

My simple question: "Can you confirm that it will work in Canada where the mains power is 110V?"

It's a basic technical question - ".. Is this device worldwide compatible?"

Customer support in the US sent me to Canada. Canada sent me to NZ and the website. I asked Canada support for the exact url so that I don't have to waste time looking around and I got a bumbling response. I've now looked through 3 Phillips portals and 45 mins later I'm am still without an answer.

I'm guessing that my TV will work. All I wanted was some modicum of customer service.in the end I paid for it with my time.

Really poor!
