Dogg Digital Audio Scam
Dogg digital audio, luck or rip off?

I felt really awful to learn that I may have been ripped off like so many others on here. I was at a gas station right outside of my college, Clemson University, on Nov, 9th and two guys pulled up in a white minivan telling me they were delivering speakers to one of Clemson's theatres when they noticed they had four extra speakers on their load.

Being in a band, we were looking for studio grade floor monitors, and the guy (who looked to be in his young twenty's) told me I was in luck. He took out a box, and I noticed as he was taking it out a price at the top that said $999.00 each. I told him that I didnt have that kind of money and he asked me how much I had on me so I said $240. I actually had about $350. He hesitated, then told me he could give me one for that much, I told him I was going to wait until I had enough money to buy a matching pair, he hesitated some more and said "Fu@k it, take em both, I'm just pocketing the money anyway." So I did, but not before inspecting both of them.

When I got home, we hooked them up to the PA and they sounded After all, it was a really well—built box, alluminum cone speakers, 8 inch horn, and 2 inch driver. Two of these for $240. Glad I didnt spend any more money, as I got reimbursed after our next gig. So far, we havent had any problems with the speakers. But I do feel about two inches tall knowing that I may have been ripped off.
