Terrible camcorder do not buy

This is the worst of the worst. Of course it is, i bought it. For some reason im having a LOT of trouble finding at least a USABLE camcorder for $200 or less. PLEASE, any suggestions is welcomed. Yes, i know i can't expect the quality of a $400 camera for half the price, but i just want video that i can actually see! I first bought a flip ultra, but took that back because i saw it had no zoom function (i DO need at least a digital zoom). Then, i was conned into buying this piece of CRAP. The specs boast of a led light so u can use it in low light situations, HA, yeah right! THE LED LIGHT WORKS UP TO 6 INCHES, THAT'S IT, IM NOT KIDDING. And, also, white balance is auto, well that would be fine if it was actually capable of adjusting to the point u could see. EVERY video i took indoors was almost completely black. YES, i had all of my lights on too! U cannot make out any subjects u film at all, u can only see them as a shadow outline (yes, i brightened the lcd screen, which wouldnt reflect in the recording anyhow). There is no way at all to adjust the brightness. This is a pile of crap. YOU CANNOT EVEN ADJUST THE EXPOSURE TO COMPENSATE EITHER.

Here's the "features" u actually have to chose from: Scene selection-has sports (completely black screen.) low light - barely visible from 6 inches, using the led light. Blacklight-LOL, what i put it on. Maybe 1/2 of 1% brighter than low light, cannot make out any object, including people that are more than 6 inches away. Auto-the auto choses the next to the darkest option.

-you can zoom, but if you cant see the object to begin with, then what's the point of zooming in on a shadow?

-u can take 5mp still photos with no flash

-cannot adjust iso

-one "option" u do have is to move pictures to a different folder.

In summary, my digital camera that takes 640x480 shoots better quality video than the sony webbie hd-mhs cm1 "1080p" camcorder. The video is completely unusable.

I know they have a newer version of the webbie in an ultra compact version, and i would rather snort tylenol than ever give that a chance.

Beware-this camera is not for indoor use, even if you have multiple lights on. The led light only works 6 inches away, don't be fooled. This is the worst camcorder i could ever buy.
