On November 15. Gazelle offered me $106.05 for two Samsung cell phones. The Samsung Omnia was less than 30 days old and is a PDA that retails for $449.99. My daughter got one tiny scratch on it so I could not return it to the cell phone company. The other phone was a Samsung Hue r500 in excellent condition. Gazelle.com sent me a box and prepaid shipping label. I sent both phones to Gazelle. They checked the phones in and said my phones passed inspection and they will give me the $106.05! On December 4 I got another email from Gazelle that "Hooray my check is on the way and please allow a few days to receive my payment!" After 2 weeks of not receiving any payment I contacted Gazelle.com, Live Chat is the only way you can reach anyone and inquired where my payment is? I was told also by a supervisor named "Ananda" that I have to wait 14 business days for them to reissue the payment. I have Live Chated with several reps from Gazelle and even demanded that a supervisor call me back and gave my phone number and no one has ever called! Today is December 25 and still no payment after sending them my phones over 30 days ago! I had to buy my daughter another cell phone and I really counted on this payment that I was promised for Christmas presents. Now Christmas has come and gone and it is impossble to talk to a "real" person from Gazelle. I will contact them daily untill I receive my payment and I will never do business with this "scam" company again! I want to warn as many people as possible about doing business with Gazelle.com. This company gives internet companies a bad name. I found out about Gazelle.com from MyPoints.com and they do not have Gazelle.com listed as a partner site with them any longer. Maybe because MyPoints.com members never received payment from Gazelle.com?
