I got ripped off by these crooks a couple of months ago. I was looking for a nice quality replica watch and did some research on the Internet. All the very informative sites I found pointed me towards Blue Fakes as a reputable seller of Swiss movement replica watches. It wasn't until later that I realized all these sites were shams set up by the Blue fakes group. I say group because Blue Fakes is only one of several names and sites used by these charlatans.
I ordered a Swiss ETA 27 jewel Rolex Submariner replica for "only" $585... It was on sale. The salesman on the phone was very helpful and promised next day FedEx delivery at no additional charge. I wanted to use my credit card since, according to their site, they accept all major cards. They "temporarily" couldn't take credit cards and had to get payment with a money order. Stupidly, I did as they asked. I got the watch next day and anxiously opened the package. There was no invoice and no instruction sheet.inside I found a cheap black box with stick on letters that fell right off.in the box was the watch, in a cheap plastic bag. It didn't run. Also, the 6 o'clock dial insert had fallen off and was loose in the case. I called Blue Fakes immediately and was promised an instant replacement. It never came. After that call, I was never able to get through again, always getting an answering machine and never getting a call in return.
I sent my watch in for repair. It was fixed and the repairman confirmed what I already knew. The movement was a cheap Chinese 21 jewel movement and the rest of the watch was a very poor quality Chinese knock-off. I still have the watch and at least it now works. It looks okay and does run well. It's an absolutely fine $100 Chinese bottom end replica, unfortunately it cost me $585 plus the cost of the repair.
I have filed complaints with the FBI, the BBB, the NYC AG's office, GoDaddy and the Webby Awards, whose logo and endoresment they fraudulently use. Nothing has been done and likely will never been done. Law enforcement seems to have no interest in prosecuting these guys.
There are really some nice replica watches out there. Some start at under $100, and some are as expensive as $3-400. There are honest sellers of replica watches who will sell you what is advertised. Blue Fakes and their assorted crony businesses are not one of those businesses. They are crooks who charge for high end watches, insist on cash, and send out cheap, often broken, junk. Their warranty and return offers are total nonsense. Once they have your money, the transaction is over and you have been cheated.
