I bought two "Maytag" Dehumidifiers. They both had 5-year guarantees.in under 5 years they both stop dealing with compressor issues. After I approached Maytag, they stated the dehumidifiers were created be Fedders underneath the Maytag title. Fedders went broke and Maytag won't help the guarantee. Within the fine-print within the consumer manual it claims the warranty is just a Fedders, not Maytag guarantee.
Watch Out For purchasing something Maytag! You've to see the fine-print to locate whether it's a Maytag item. Whether it's not Maytag, they wont help the guarantee. They've completed this with increased than dehumidifiers. I've also discovered they have completed it with airconditioners among different items. The Maytag title in an item does not mean it's produced and justified by Maytag, today part of Whirlpool.
