Never use Sprint for any reason, especially from a motel room. They are dishonest and will steal your money.
Recently I was staying in a motel in New England. It was necessary to make a few calls so I used the phone in the motel room. I was informed by the operator that I had to use Sprint long distance and the rates would be reasonable.innocently, I trusted them and placed the calls on my credit card.
When the bill came, I found out I was actually being charged $7 per minute for a total of 6 minutes. Customer service did not care and were very sarcastic. Now I am stuck paying a huge bill for a few short calls. They lied to me and then took advantage by charging me an astronomical rate. This was fraud, deception and highway robbery.
A better idea is to carry a calling card from your local telephone company. This way you can avoid being ripped off by dishonest companies such as Sprint.
