World Imaging Supplies
Mis-information - deception - scam

World Imaging Supplies, contacted me via the phone at the business I work at which is a small office in Cincinnati, OH. I handle ordering the supplies but I have only been here for 1 year and we have not had to order a new toner for the copier thus far. Well, this company called posing as a company that was trying to "renew" there information for an "account" that we had. I can assure you that we did not have an account with this company.

A women named Jenny called the first time and asked what model number our printer was so she could update their records, I figured that's fine, so I went and gave her the number. She said thanks and I hung up the phone. She then called later as if she knew our toner was expiring and I explained to her that we do not need a toner and that the whole time I've been here we have not changed it and that I do not want to purchase the toner. She empathically said that she understood and told me that she is not trying to get me to purchase the toner but rather just trying to lock the price of the toner instead for future purchase. So the fax that she sent over that clearly said "order confirmation" she wanted me to sign and fax back with the acknowledgement that this was only a price lock. Well, naughty me I figured she was telling the truth, she seemed so genuine.

So during a busy day at work, after speaking with her and explaining that we do not want to order it she says, that's fine just sign it and fax it back so we can price lock this deal or else you will pay more later. ($349) Well I did, and now a week later I just received a shipment for this toner I did not purchase.

I called the shipping company, IDCSERVCO, and they said that I did order it and that I signed for the order, I explained this to the lady who can be reached at 800-446-9835 x5192 and she said that all they would do is take the cost off and then we would have to pay the shipping it cost them, and then the shipping for us to ship it back. ($90) Well this is obviously a scam that both companies are very much familar with and work together in. They use each other to blame and then do not refund the money... Luckily for us we have not paid for this and we will not pay for this. If this were taken into court it would be thrown out.

So now I called World Imaging Supplies at 877-233-4485 who I am now waiting to here back from Ron Parson. I told him about what Jenny said and he acted suprised and told me that Jenny was one of their sales memebers, AKA scam team.

Everyone who has falled into this scam, please do not put up with it, fight back and by all means do not pay them the money that they do not deserve, they will be out of business in 1 year. This could be the sales team scamming people just for a their own personal gain rather than the company as a whole, but I can bet that if others have had this happen to them with more than one sales rep being "Jenny", then this is a compayn wide problem at World Imaging Supplies and the company needs to be shut down. A verbal agreement is just as strong as a paper agreement and the company is using lies over the phone in order to get lies on paper and make people pay for supplies they did not want and explained they did not want.

Resolution is pending...
