I have one line of service through Metro PCS for my oldest son. Recently he was on punishment due to a bad report card so in turn his phone was taken. I didn't pay the bill for 28 days of the service month and on the 29th day his punishment had ended so the bill was paid. Now you woud think that since this was a pre-paid service that the amount due would be pro rated for the one day of service, WRONG. They charged me the full service agreement amount for one month for one day of service. I was told by customer service this is the fee for holding the number? I am not a lawyer but pretty sure if you pay service fees that a service has to be provided.
Has this happen to you? If so, please reply to this report for I believe a class action law suit is in order.
With the support of each other this kind of unethical business practice can end.
