I purchased a Canon EOS 50D Package on Ebay. Ebay Item number eBay Item Number: 300291499726. Once i had placed my order i recieved a email to call in and pay by phone. I did not do this action i paid for my item via Paypal. The person who was doing the sales was named mark. He Assured me that my package would leave the following day. I get a email that a package has been shipped so i watch for it.
After 2 weeks have gone by i still see nothing. I get online and it says the package has been delivered. So i immediately call UPS and see who signed for the package. I did not sign for any package. They said that my grand father had signed for the package. On March 3. I asked him if he signed for anything. He was not home all day he was at work and at the doctors. I then called UPS back and made a claim.
After i spoke to UPS. I called Pyxis camera. Once again i spoke to Mark. He assured me everything was going to be taken care of and that they would send me my new package out right away. Another 2-3 weeks go by i still hear nothing from UPS nor Pyxis camera. So i called Mark again for a update on the situation. He said that UPS has denied the claim. But he said he was going to refile the claim and that my camera was going to be going out the following day.
All the phone calls that i have made to mark have been recorded on my cell phone. He has said 3 times in our conversations that my camera will be shipped out immediately. And i still have no camera. Now everytime i call Mark will just pick up the phone and hang it up. Or he says he is going to speak to his supervisor and he kept me on hold for 2 hours 32 minutes. He then picked up the phone and said hello i replied back to him and he hung up again.
Do not deal with this company at all they will rip you off. I called UPS and asked them the status of the claim. They told me that the claim was paid in full to pyxis camera for the amount of $3400. But yet i have no camera and left with nothing that i have saved up for over a year.
