Bad customer service

I bought a Sony Ps3 on 9/30/07. I recently bought the gaming Resident Evil 5. I place the disk directly into perform the sport. The disk had a model update (ver 2.52). I packed the edition update and performed the overall game for an hour. I closed the overall game along and returned 20 minutes later to perform again and also the PS3 program would not read any disks. I named the Sony help-line and spoke to an owner called Jason. I discussed what happened. He instantly went into his sales hype and explained I had been out-of guarantee and would need to spend $150 to obtain the machine set. I told him used to donot possess the cash and questioned when they might say the charge. He explained we had a need to attempt some troubleshooting but when it did not work they'd say the charge. I attempted his troubleshooting and nothing worked. I called back 24 hours later and got another owner and he explained there is no means they'd restore the machine with no $150. I've since been online to determine if it was a typical issue also it seems that it's.individuals have had the machine for various schedules including times to months to weeks and experienced the same issue. This can be a recognized issue and Sony has discovered a method to revenue from their errors. That is ridiculous. Shame you sony!!!
