I attempted to purchase a Canon G10 camera as advertised on http://www.techondigital.com/product.Asp? Productid=cnpsg10&tab=1. Received a request to call and confirm my order. When I called I was offered all kinds of accessories at ridiculous prices and when I refused all of them, as a last resort I was informed that the menus on the camera are all in Japanese and unless I purchase some kind of warranty or service package I can't have it in English. I declined my order, but now I am concerned that these people have my credit card information.
After this whole story I made a search online and found all kinds of complains against this company. I was suspicious of them from the moment I noticed their name techon... instead of techno..., as one would expect, and yet decided to give it a try. I guess the old truth of "if it's too good to be true, it probably is" is the one I needed to be reminded of. However, I do not appreciate being treated this way and would be glad to do what I can to put a stop to these people. If there is something that can be done, please advise.
