I bought the Magicjack to save money since my husband just lost his job. When I received it, I tried everything I could think of to make it work (I have 2 gigs of ram). And it did work but it cut out like crazy. I only understood half of what was being said to me from my daughter. So I sent it back within a week of getting it.
Then I found out that my debit card was charged the day I bought it so my bank account was overdrawn for two days before I caught it. So there's $70.00 worth of overdraft charges I had to cover with my rent money (which I'm still trying to catch up on). I looked at the site and I can't find any reference to a debit card. They must hide that info well.
They have had their phone device back since Oct. 31st but I still don't have my money. They said they put the money back yesterday and is trying to lay the blame on my bank. But they don't seem to understand that I trust my bank! I've dealt with them for about 12 years now and I've never had them screw me over... Never!
And if you want to talk to a real person, well, just forget it. Kind of ironic that someone who sells phone service can't be reached by phone.
Please don't buy from these people unless you enjoy frustration and headaches.
