I was a the Chevron gas station University & Alafaya Trail near UCF 11:30 am 12/16/02 when two well keep clean cut young white men (early twenties) approach me & said they had just come from the airport from picking a shipment. They said they had sent 2 extra speakers & instead of sending them back they would sell them & they could use the money for Christmas.
They said they were installing them at the college & they were due there in a few minutes. They had me look at them & showed me the invoice & shipping ticket. They were worth $2000.00 each. They even had a magazine with the price in it. They said they wanted $1000.00 for both. I said I did not have but $40.00 on me & a check. I could pay that much. They said they needed $600.00. I told them I would only go $500.00. They hesitated for a minute then said ok.
They said they would call the person & say they would be 10 minutes late & they followed me to the bank. They loaded them in my truck for me & here's a real kicker they ask me for food money after I gave them the $500.00 & I gave them $10.00 for a hamburger!!! Put Stupid on My Head!!! If it's too good to be true then it's not true!!!
