Cancellation fee for 801-458-6907

To whom it may concern,

This is my cancellation fee that was the amount when i signed up in 2003. I have been very, very disappointed with the service i have received over the last year. I unfornately renewed my contract in order to get a phone that wasnt as old as the hills (which by the way was a nokia 6030 and worked better as far as signal reception goes). Within a few weeks it started dropping calls very frequently especially at my house which is well within range of the cell tower. It was troubleshooted to be the phone (nokia 6103b piece of crap according to many comments on the web and my personal experience) so another was sent out. The same thing happened very frequently (dropped calls or no signal 1 or 2 feet away from my dad's phone which is also tmobile). I used the phone as a connection to the internet and it was always dropping the connection and would reset for no apparent reason. Again it was troubleshooted to be the phone (which of course is a refurbished piece of crap). I paid extra to have it sooner than a week. I soon was having the same problems (dropped calls even when it showed that i had good signal or no signal again 1 or 2
feet away from my dad's phone which had signal). Along with this i am half-deaf without hearing aides so i was looking into purchasing a bluetooth necklace that would interface with the t-coil in my aides. The necklace would only would work satisfactorily at a range of about 6in otherwise it was crackly and not very clear. I thought maybe it was just my phone. It wasn't the audiologist that had the bluetooth necklace also has a nokia 6103b piece of crap it did the same thing so he had the company send another bluetooth necklace to try. It did the same thing. The bluetooth necklace company had had no other complaints with any other phones. I called nokia and they basically agreed that there were problems with the nokia 6103b when i asked "is that why they no longer have it available?" i called your customer service once again and was told there as nothing that could be done because the phone had not been replaced 3 times in 3 months. My only options were to get another piece of crap nokia 6103b or pay 150.00 to get upgraded from the nokia 6103b to the nokia 6133. I didnt like either option. I talked to a lawyer and had them send a letter to you explaining what had happened. The reply was there is no warranty on the service or signal reception. And that i had to pay 200.00 dollars to get out of the freaking contract. I feel that is totally outrageous as i had (emphasis on had) been a customer since 2003. I am telling everyone i know not to go with tmobile or any other cellphone company that you have to sign a freaking contract with. I have since purchased a nokia 6275i through another company and it works great. I have unlimited minutes, texting, web-browsing, 411, call forwarding, voicemail. All for around 56.00 a month. Best of all no freaking contract.

I am reporting you to the better business bureau and to any other agency i can think of. I am going to post this on the web. For now i am going to ask for a kiss as i bend over for another reaming just like the oil companies.

Sincerely,

A very dissatisfied customer.
