LCD HDTV How to win

You can beat the ripoff cycle of Polaroid. I grew tried of the 9 months of promises from them. They sent me 2 TV's to replace the broken down original purchase (WalMart refused to take it back after less than 30 days). The final TV sent was a 26" LCD non-HDTV. I purchased a 32" LCD HDTV. A few weeks ago I filed a complaint of fraud with the AG's office. I also sent Polaroid a formal letter of Complaint and let them know they had 15 days to respond or I would be filing in Small Claims Court for $5,000, as well as the AG's office would be filing a case for Consumer Fraud.
Yesterday I received an e-mail stating that the refund would be coming in the next few days. They will not get back the 3 TV's in my garage until the check has cleared. I made that plain to them.

I also informed them that they will send RMA's along with prepaid shipping labels for the 3 TV's. I also informed them that if the prepaid shipping labels was not received within 30 days from the check clearing I would charge $5.00 per day per TV stored. If not paid within 90 days, I would file for a lien against Polaroid for the storage fees.

Plain and simple you must plan on going to court. Don't expect them to honor the warranty, force them to. I have complied and printed out over 500 pages of complaints from the internet. It shows a pattern of non-compliance with the Consumer Protection Act in my state. They know this and they know I would receive a $5,000 judgment against them in Small Claims Court as well as the info from the Small Claims Court would be given to the AG's office and a case against Polaroid would cost them even more in fines and legal fees.

Fight back. Go to Court if they refuse to comply. I gave them every chance to make it right, they refused. So the complaint with The AG's office is step 1 and the 2nd step is Small Claims Court. Show documents and prove they are not honoring the warranty and they will lose. Believe it or not, they will lose anyway. Polaroid will not show up for Small Claims Court. The cost of flying out to your state is not an expense they want. The really don't want a Consumer Fraud charge filed either, too many legal fees. Stand up for your rights and nail the "Polaroid Rip-Off Corp" to the wall
