My daughter bought a camera case at Samy's Camera for a Leica D-LUX3 as a Christmas gift for me for $75.72. I did not buy this camera, so I had no need for the case. When she went back to Samy's three days after the purchase, to return the case, they would not give her a cash refund. They said they would only give her a credit voucher.
Samy's Camera is the only store I know of that will not give a cash refund. I personally have not and will not buy anything from Samy's. Their prices have always been among the highest for items I was interested in purchasing. The only time I go to Samy's is when I want to look at something I am about to purchase somewhere else.
My daughter learned her lesson. She will no longer buy from Samy's and has started to warn others. If you are foolish enough to buy from Samy's, make sure you are going to keep what you buy, and be aware that you may be paying top dollar for what you buy.
