DVD players last only 3 three years. Sony wants me to buy new player. I said no. Ripoff New York

I bought a dvp-ns575p for almost eighty us dollars in 2005 and it just screwed itself today.

I diagnosed it to the main chip overheating causing the crashing, it will be on for a few minutes, then crash and restart.

Sony of course, stating that the warranty was out, expected me to buy a new one???

I told them bullstool and said I for the record, will NEVER buy from Sony again.

Sony has lost me as a customer.

They sell defective or planned to break dvd players.
