Fraudulent Rebate Ripoff Riverside Los Angeles

I bought an AMP'D mobile phone at Circuit City on December 9th as a Christmas present for my son. The price was 299.00 with a 100.00 rebate. I filled out and sent in, along with all the UPC codes asked for to the address given, it says on the Circuit City receipt that it would take 8-10 weeks to receive my rebate, I have been checking at the AMP'D rebate website and still to this day it shows it was accepted and it shows I am at step 2 of 4 towards getting my rebate, today is May 24. I have written to the BBB, PUC, FTC, and Channel 2 News to no avail. Please do not do business with either Circuit City and AMP'D Mobile. They are crooks, they state the lower price for an item, saying you will get the rebate, but you never receive it, this is against the law and someone should prosecute them!
Neither company will respond to my emails.
