Dear Sir or Madam:
I am writing to let you know about ongoing issue at my store. Every Tuesday when we are closing we do our TSR, do the price changes and put the product away from carts and go backs. We roughly finish around 11:00 PM 11:30 PM which is a perfect time for us to finish and leave but that is not the case. We have Sam Mikelich the Assistant Manager of our store walk our dept and he goes into scrutinizing us about everything. He complains about every little detail from the signs specs and he wants every little thing the computer has on the sign. He basically wants the whole dept perfect. He walks us and we don't pass so then he leaves walks and us and we don't pass again. As you can see we don't leave any time soon because he is so picky. This isn't a onetime incident, its every Tuesday that we close with Sam. When we finally meet his standards of ready we end up leaving around 1:00 AM. This is just ridiculous for a time to get off from work considering we have been at work since 2:00 PM. Some of the closing employees also have to open the next morning. I have talked to many other employees and many of them are also upset and mad just like I am. Those of those with families also suffer as we get yelled at for coming home so late. The closing shift should not be responsible for sign errors and other things that can fixed throughout the day. Something has to be done we have plenty of time during the day. I wish to remain anonymous because I want my privacy.
