On Saturday, July 27th, two males in a white van approached me while I was at a stop light and offered to sell me a home theater system that their boss received as an overshipment. They showed me a receipt and a magazine that had the speakers that supposedly sold for $1,299. They opened the box for me to show that I was getting a new product and not a box of rocks. They also offered to write me a receipt in the event I was not satisfied with the product. After getting over my skepticism (of thinking they had stolen merchandise), I decided to give it a try.
I decided to go on the Internet to request some literature from the company and was pissed to come across the 'ripoff site'. I have yet to hook up the system and for fear of disappointment it may just remain in the box (which has more value than the system itself). I'm a little upset that this was not broadcast to the news networks. I also question how this site has helped me. I've already invested $350 in what I now know to be a bogus product.
