Was driving to a job, while at work when 4 guys in a blue minivan pulled next to me and frantically signaled me to pull over. This was in clearwater, Florida 1996. Pulled over thinking they needed help, but to my surprise they jumped out showing me some receipts and magazines all the while asking me to buysome Was a little pissed off originally but they were good con artists and convinced me the speakers were high quality and they were forced by their boss to sell these over stocked speakers. They gave me a name and address even a reciept with their company name but no phone number. They showed me their i.D. S and basically scammed me for 160 dollars on a pair of speakers that were cheap remakes of acoustic design or something like that. Anyway this is nothing new, Ive been approached by guys selling speakers out of vans about 3 times in my life, the first time was in 1986!! And Im sure its been going on alot longer than that! Anyhow, dont be fooled its an old scam been going on for years and years. BEWARE of "all" people selling "anything" out of the back of "any" vehicle... Good luck!
