On 11/30, I purchased 3 E815 Motorola cellphones from Inphonic. They were activated by Verizon on 12/5. I submited 3 seperate applications for $50 rebates on Jan 6 with all required information. The rebate office advised me they received the applications and they would be processed.
On 6/2 I submitted 3 seperate applications for $150 which was 180 days after the phones were activated. I was notified they were received and were being processed.
As of this date (8/2), I have received one $50 check from Brightstar with a notification that the other two phones were refused rebate because they had an illegal ESN number.
I would like to join whatever action is required to put these scam artists in their place. It is impossible to contact the customer service of this company with their posted phone numbers.
