We got our money back!
The same thing happened to us. I had found out the whole thing was a scam and filed a report at this website a few days ago.
Yesterday in the same parking lot a man flagged my husband down to let my husband "in on a good deal" He was about to buy the same speakers from two different guys with the same story.
My husband pulled behind the van and told the guy that it was all a scam and told the guys selling the speakers that he wanted his 200.00 back. They tried getting back in the van, my husband stopped them, words were said, the cops came and told my husband that it was his fault, he shouldnt of bought anything out of he back of a truck with no receipt.
The police did give him a copy of the invice that the guys had and told him to call and see if it was a real number. It was.
I talked to the head guy and he admitted it an "organization" and there was nothig illegal about it and there is werehouses all around the U.S. And we were lucky to get speakers that even worked.
I told him what had happened at the parking lot and how we got the number and we wanted our money back or next time the guys my husband sees won't be as lucky as the ones today, while we were talking the guys that my husband saw had made it back to the werehouse and were about crying saying "some huge dude saw us in the parking lot, told us that we better give him his money back and the police gave him a copy of the invoice" The man ageed to meet us by the werehouse and give us our money back.
