I paid $317.00 to have my projection TV repaired in Oct/05. My TV was returned just before Hurricane Wilma, not repaired because the owner did not want to be responsible for any unforseen damage in wake of the storm.
It went back after the hurricane, returned not working, went back, returned worked 5 days, then had the same problem, not working, went back and I requested it remain in the shop for at least a week, running 24/7 before it was returned to me.
When it was brought back after the holidays, it did not work. I was fed up, and was told I would receive a refund, and could purchase another TV, with a discount for my trouble. I went to the store, and purchased another TV, for $400.00 (this is what it cost the man) They took my bigscreen TV, and I was never refunded my original $317.00.
Now I'm out the original cost to repair, but have spent an additional $400.00 and have lost my bigscreen TV which I suspec (can't prove) the owner of the repair shop will resell at a profit.
