There are tons of horror stories from victims of this ripoff company all over the internet, so mine is not an isolated case. I bought a camera thru them at what I thought was the advertised price of $359. Then they called me back and asked if I wanted a battery with that for an extra $99. Well, since the camera is no good without the battery I agreed. Then I see the hit on my Visa and it is for $575!!! Where did the extra cost come from???
I called to cancel but they lied to me and said it had already been shipped - but when I finally got a tracking number I saw that it didn't ship until the next week AFTER I had called!!! So I called back and said I wanted to return it and they said I could only get an RMA# if I signed a waiver agreeing to pay them $175 as a cancellation fee!!! What a total scam!!!
I am going to send the camera back unopened but I have probably just lost $575. And it is pretty hard to get your money back from Visa on something like this. I guess it's a $575 learning experience. Next time before I buy I will go to the internet and type in the company name[space] scam. If I had done that first I would have saved myself $575!!!
