On 9th November I ordered a PSP from MYDV.co.uk for the sum of 169.95, to my surprise I noticed that although my online statement was for said amount, MYDV actually took 183.30, this is illegal to my knowledge. I then emailed them to query this. No reply.
I tried to phone, cannot take call due to high volume (no surprise), or mailbox is full. Have waited three weeks. No reply or goods for that matter. Have managed to chat online to a MYDV rep, have requested order to be cancelled and money refunded, have been informed that this can only be done via the phone, ergo catch 22. As you cannot get through on the phone.
After some investigation it seems that they are an American company masquerading as a British one via webb address and London phone number.
I therefore urge any US Law enforcement agency which has an interest to investigate them.
