The Most Fraudulent, Dishonest, Ripoff Scam Legally Taking Place In America!

I have been a member of the Sprint Free and Clear Wireless Plan since my sophmore year of college. I am a senior now looking to graduate in the near future.

Originally my plan started as was agreed upon. However as time went on I noticed that my calls were constantly being dropped and that the phone's screen no longer worked due to a software glitch. It was replaced and a new phone was obtained. However the quality was poor and dropped calls were consistent.

Well after 2 years of being a Sprint PCS customer and fed up I called up the day my plan ended and told them I wanted to cancel my plan. I was told there would be a cancellation fee and I told them that I had a smiley face drawn on my calender because this was the day I was finally free from their company.

Well I was given a deal I could not refuse if I was willing to stay with the company first off I said there was nothing they could do to make me stay. Than they said "nothing?" Having a lot of family in Canada I was made aware that they had a free calling to Canada program which cost an additional seven dollars a month.

The representative on the phone named "Carlos" told me that if I was willing to renew my contract with Sprint I would receive this promotion entirely free, also I would receiver Sprint PCS services free for two month and "at no additional cost an added line to anyone I wanted that was linked to my plan at no cost to me" Well I thought this was great.

I also wanted to increase my minutes from 300 to 500 anytime minutes. The representative did inform me this would cost an additional fee which it did. Anyhow I told my parents the great news and that they would be getting a free phone at no charge and I would have free calling to Canada. None of this was actually put on my plan and all of it was said exactly as described by the representative.

Three of my friends were in the room all of whom were sprint customers also awaiting the end of their plan so that they could get out. They heard just as me the statements I was promised by the representative. Well I didn't get any free calling to Canada and the extra phone cost an additional 60 dollars a month. The first month my phone bill was around 200 dollars. That's 160 more than 40 a month for what I was supposedly going to receive all these great features.

Well I sat down and wrote a lengthy essay to the better business bureau regarding the problem. A few weeks later I received a phone call from a Sprint Customer Care Relations Vice President named Rachel Raspberry. I had contact Sprint continually before writing the better business bureau report asking and pleading with them about the offers I was told I would recieve.

They apologized and said they were sorry if I was told that but there was no way for them to know I requested that they play the phone call back since they record them for quality control but lucky for them they said they couldn't. Also I was told that the additional phone I could keep with no minutes on it for an additional fee of 20 dollars a month which was a lot lower than the 60 it was costing prior so I frustratingly accepted.

Well after talking to Mrs. Rachel Raspberry I was informed that I would get a whole lot of credit back for all their mistakes and she did waiver the fee for the phone my parents received. Still she said there was no way she could provide me with free calling to Canada.

This was around the Holidays right around newyears of this year. Still however countless problems arose in the plan which she did not address. Also when I got back to school my phone bill was sky high. I could not understand it so I contacted Sprint again and the reason for it was when they switched my plan the free calling after 8 stopped and went to now free calling after 9.

This was something I was never made aware of. The representative apologized and said he was sorry, I said well what am I supposed to do and he said that he could again apply a large credit to my account to get rid of the fees and that the plan should have actually been set to free calling after 7pm and that it was a mistake on there part.

He said he could fix it and that I would just have to agree with a 2 year agreement starting today. Well I knew that I hated doing business with this company but without making the agreement I would be out 300 dollars. So ultimately I made it.

Tonight I checked my minutes and found out that I was 92 over. I had not used the phone allday and left it at home so I called up Sprint. Another 32 minutes I was on the found and found out that the man I spoke to last time never changed my plan to start at 7. I specifically told him all the problems I had had with this company and he apologized and promised me I would have no more and that he was making the changes to my account right away as we spoke.

Again all lies and none of it took place. I also had to buy a new phone when I resigned my agreement for the first time with them in October (although the plan has been changed three times since than and at least a dozen phone calls usually one to two a month have been made regarding problems with the billing and the features on it.)

Anyways when I bought my phone I sent away fro the 150 dollar mail in rebate. I have still yet to see this rebate. This Company is the most dishonest group of people I have ever dealt with, never in my life have I had a problem with a company besides this one.

This company is full of tricksters and swindlers that will promise the world and not deliver. And proof? Well they don't write out any form of documentation. This company should definetly be taken to the courts and taught a thing about ethics in treating people.
