I have been trying for one full year to resolve an issue with this company, and I've finally given up. I will be filing a claim against Sprint PCS in small claims court as soon as I can get the paperwork together.

I had Sprint PCS cell phone service for two years. While I was never satisfied with this company, I honored and fulfilled my 2-year contract. At the end of the contract, I signed up with a different carrier. When I terminated my Sprint service, I called to verify everything was OK for me to stop service. I was assured everything was in order, and that I would received a final bill of less than $10.00

The bill I received was for almost $100. After calling to check it out, I was told it was a mistake, and the next bill would be correct. The next bill was for over $200, and things went downhill from there.

I began to get collections calls, and every time I tried to explain what was going on, I was treated rudely and with contempt. I was threatened with collections, which eventually happened. Of course, the collections people only do what they are told by Sprint, so I could not make any headway with them.

I finally quit answering the collection calls. However, it occured to me that Sprint could damage my credit report, so I decided to give it one last shot.

After a lot of online searching, I found an e-mail address and sent a message. Approximately 5 exchanged messages later, I was told by a rep that the problem was a mistake on Sprint's part, and that if I called the collections department again it would be corrected.

Again, after numerous phone calls, I finally got a human voice. Calmly explaining the whole routine again, the end result was: sorry, I can't help you. I asked for a supervisor or manage, and the response was: they will tell you the same thing. I asked for a manager anyway: sorry, there isn't one available, you'll have to call back. I asked for a note to be given to a manager to call me back at my home number within 3 days, or I would have to go to court. Finally, I couldn't take the aggravation anymore and said, "Listen to me!" The response: "No, sir, you listen to ME!"

I told him to forget the note to the manager and the 3 days. I'm going to court.

This is typical of EVERY experience I've had with Sprint when I've tried to call and resolve this matter. I've had enough, and I'll use tin cans and string before I ever go back to Sprint.
