I spent two years at Univ of Phx, when making an inquiry regarding whether or not their degrees would be accepted by Arizona School Districts I was told they would be without a doubt. When I contacted the districts myself I was told that they were not accepted by any district because they are not a nationally accredited school, too bad for me I was already 18 months into my degree.
Then the month I finished my degree I qualified for a $2700 grant and was re-assured by my financial adviser, Kerri, that money would be mine and would not be applied to my outstanding balance. The letter I got from Univ of Phx even stated they were not allowed to use that money toward my outstanding balance.
A month later my financial adviser called to tell me that her department took too long to place my final loan toward my outstanding balance and they were going to use my grant money to pay off my loan otherwise they would not be releasing my diploma to me. So because they took too long to apply my loan the money was sent back to the lender, they took my $2700 grant they guaranteed they would not touch and have yet to send me my diploma 90 days after I graduated.
I am a single mother, they screwed me over with my degree that I can't use at any educational facility, they stole $2700 from me AND have not followed through on a single thing they have ever promised me.
If you read this and still go to this school, you deserve to be taken.
